Ehrbar Engineering presenta un'ala posteriore progettata per avere proporzioni realistiche e migliorare le prestazioni delle auto di F1 elettriche 1/10.
Mentre il ruolo dell'aerodinamica nelle corse RC continua a essere discusso, questo alettone è stato progettato per non scendere a compromessi tra aspetto realistico e prestazioni per chi è interessato a entrambi. Dopo aver analizzato una serie di ali posteriori disponibili in commercio, sono state determinate le dimensioni di base.
Grazie a simulazioni CFD approfondite effettuate nella "Galleria del Vento Virtuale" di Ehrbar Engineering, combinate con test in pista ed esperienza pratica, è stato sviluppato un design che offre un'elevata deportanza con una resistenza relativamente bassa. L'elevata deportanza migliora la stabilità posteriore, mentre la bassa resistenza aerodinamica aiuta a mantenere l'aderenza anteriore riducendo la resistenza aerodinamica.
L'ala è stampata in 3D, presenta un elemento superiore in due pezzi per ottimizzare il comportamento aerodinamico e migliorare il realismo e include supporti per piloni dalla forma aerodinamica che si collegano ai punti di montaggio standard, rendendola compatibile con tutte le attuali auto 1/10 F1.
