Ehrbar Engineering presenta un alerón trasero diseñado tanto para conseguir unas proporciones realistas como para mejorar el rendimiento de los coches de F1 eléctricos 1/10.
Aunque el papel de la aerodinámica en las carreras de RC sigue siendo objeto de debate, este alerón se ha diseñado para no transigir entre el aspecto realista y el rendimiento para los interesados en ambas cosas. Tras analizar varios alerones traseros disponibles en el mercado, se determinaron las dimensiones básicas.
Mediante extensas simulaciones CFD realizadas en el "Túnel de viento virtual" de Ehrbar Engineering, combinadas con pruebas en pista y experiencia práctica, se desarrolló un diseño que ofrece una elevada carga aerodinámica con una resistencia relativamente baja. La alta carga aerodinámica mejora la estabilidad trasera, mientras que la baja resistencia ayuda a mantener el agarre en la parte delantera al reducir la resistencia aerodinámica.
El alerón está impreso en 3D, presenta un elemento superior de dos piezas para optimizar el comportamiento aerodinámico y mejorar el realismo, e incluye soportes de pilón con forma aerodinámica que se conectan a los puntos de montaje estándar, lo que lo hace compatible con todos los coches de F1 1/10 actuales.
