XRAY X4F-2025 FWD 1:10 Car Kit

With the X4F-2025, Xray has revised its successful predecessor model X4F-2024 and provided it with some updates.

As always, everything in the best Xray quality.

Here are the innovations and features of the X4F-2025

Chassis

• Completely new chassis that works perfectly with the new bulkheads and lower wishbones
• Engine mount moved 5 mm forward for improved traction
• Integrated with the new one-piece aluminum servo/steering brackets and battery holder systems
• Narrowed by 5mm at the front and 10mm at the rear for improved flex characteristics that enhance steering and rotation while reducing chassis drag for higher cornering speeds

Servo mount

• The new one-piece servo mount moves the servo forward by 5 mm for more traction.
• Single arm steering reduces weight
• Works with the new battery holder system to move the battery position further forward for maximum traction
• One-piece design eliminates servo movement in hard crashes
• Ultra-low profile design reduces weight and lowers the center of gravity as much as possible

New geometry creates clearance to move the motor and servo mount 5 mm forward to improve traction and steering response in corners

Weight saving

• The X4F'25 is 25g lighter than the X4F'24, with the rear suspension strategically lightened to move the weight distribution further forward.
• All electronics have been moved forward by 5 mm to maximize traction at the front.
• Greater weight distribution setup options to better adapt to different track conditions

Other brand new features

• 100g more weight on the front bumper for improved traction with less grip. Optional 50g weights can be added under the front drivetrain for high traction.
• New rear bulkheads contribute to further weight savings.
• The higher mounting position of the ARS handlebar on the rear bulkheads creates greater adjustability and allows the ARS steering arm to be mounted further forward or rearward, which has a major impact on the rotation of the vehicle
• The new carbon fiber bracket for the rear upper wishbone reduces weight
• Carbon fiber rear body post bracket improves durability and resistance 
• New composite upper arms generate more traction and improve durability in hard crashes
• Shorter belt to match the changed engine mount position
• Updated top deck geometry matches the new center shaft position
• Rear top deck uses a pair of mounting bolts for improved rotation
• The most common caster bushings are included in the kit for maximum performance right out of the box
• New battery mounting system works with the new servo mount to position the battery as far forward as possible for improved traction.
• Center hubs are included in the kit to create more traction and steering for maximum performance right out of the box
• New motor mount moves the motor 5 mm forward to improve traction.
• 1mm shims under the front lower arms improve steering
• Active rear shock towers improve rotation, and the new shock design allows for lower downstop settings without the need for modifications
• New control arms with staggered shock absorber positions improve underarm flex and reduce twisting under load
• The inner shock absorber positions improve weight distribution as the shock absorbers are closer to the centerline of the vehicle.
• Upper control arms are shaped to fit around the new damper location while maintaining proper suspension geometry and stiffness.
• Front and rear shock mounts use shims to adjust the shock positions in finer increments
• Three different mounting options for the shock mount provide alternatives for the chassis flex to optimize response and stiffness.
